Established in 1993, Midsouth Holdings Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of fibreglass reinforced plastic ( "FRP") products for the heavy vehicle and industrial sectors in China.

Besides FRP vehicle parts, doors, windows and industrial fittings such as pipes, the Group also manufactures and installs air conditioning systems and successfully diversified into polypropylene vehicle parts production in 2Q2006.

Headquartered in Shandong Province, Midsouth is known for its high product quality and its manufacturing facilities are recognized as amongst the most technologically advanced operations in the province. Its 3 plants in Dezhou, Wucheng and Luquantun have re-located to a single 333,333m² facility in Lingxian to achieve greater cost efficiency. Production has started for all of its products. Besides that, its new automated system for FRP vehicle parts will better meet requirements of international truck manufacturers.

The Group counts major vehicle manufacturers in the PRC such as China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Jinan Truck Co., Ltd, Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd, and Anhui Hualing Automobile Co., amongst its key long term customers.

China’s accelerated infrastructure spending, nation-wide urbanization effort and buoyant property development market is driving demand for Midsouth’s products and services. For instance, the ongoing major South-to-North Water Diversion Project has created a huge demand for FRP vehicle parts and water pipes. The ongoing road network expansion as well as the new higher levy on agricultural vehicles to discourage their use as substitutes for trucks is also expected to stimulate demand for heavy vehicles.
